1956 Jaguar XK140 MC FHC. We are pleased to offer this elegant 1956 Jaguar XK140 MX fixed head coupé. This classic Jag is equipped with the special, most desired "c-type" cylinder head that enables the massive inline 6 to produce a strong 210hp. The XK Coupé is a beautiful representation of the curves that were unique to that era of automotive design. The name "XK140" was derived from the cars ability to reach a top speed of 140mph in 1956. This example is wearing a new coat of olde english white paint that has been expertly applied. The seats have been re-dyed in the factory correct red and the carpet is new. In the early 70's this car was freshened, driven, and then relinquished to storage in the late 1970's. The current owner acquired it last year after it was stored for 30 years and began a light restoration. This included re-chroming all of the bright work (at a cost of $7k), new paint, new fuel tank and lines, new radiator, he re-built the carb
